I used the online version this year since my taxes are simple and does not require the long form for itemized deductions. The best thing about the online version is the "pick up where you left off" feature! You can stop inputting data anytime because the online version saves your progress as you enter data. When you decide to stop entering data to research or locate needed documents, the online version will all you if you want to pick up where you left off as you launch the online version again. The submittal was easy and straight forward for both the Federal Return and any State Return you completed. The Federal Return is free but the State Return is fee-based. Refunds can be sent direct to a bank or in check form. Payment can also be made direct from your bank if submitting electronically, our printed and mailed in with the tax form.
